It is easy to move around the Alps and even different countries to go on a trip from the western Alps (which located in France) can go to Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Italy. One of the most popular and pleasant stay while visiting the Alps in France is the Chamonix valley, a few flag Ideal for staying at if only a couple of people who are traveling or a large group. The area is perfect and is located in the Alps, you can make the most of every day that passes there. You may wonder why France? There are many opportunities to escape while in and out beaten path, you must go where everyone goes. As I have said, however, is now only for outdoor activities, is a place to admire the natural beauty of the region to take another culture and try new things, but mostly a place where you can escape to normal day. Is it going to snow in Winterberg, Germany around the new year?

I'm going to Winterberg, Germany, on 02/01/2007, and I wanted to do skiing. I bought the team, but now it seems that is not going to snow because it is too hot (-> global warming is for you). Last year there were tons of snow! For the moment everything is still green as you can see these webcams: http://www.winterberg.de/tourismus_de/Informationen_und_Service/Webcams/index.php?navanchor=1010015

I know Winterberg in the Sauerland. This is not really an international Ski Resort. Only a few tracks below 800 m. It is only appropriate for a day trip if you live in Cologne, for example. You should rather go to a higher place, if possible.
